Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Receivable/ Payable & Data Entry –
Following the direction of the bookkeeper, complete data entry, creation of quotations or invoices and management of payables. Making sure quotes sent in time, receivables and payables are accounted for,
* Payroll Support
– Assist with the accurate and timely collation of payroll and timesheet entries for directors.
* Administration & Organization:
Overseeing daily office operations, managing records and accounts, handling insurance issues, and ensuring the physical office is maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
* Financial & HR Support:
Assisting with accounts payable/receivable, managing payroll for employees and subcontractors, tracking project costs and budgets, and handling new hire paperwork and onboarding processes.
* Compliance & Procedures
–Update and maintain policies, procedures and compliance documents such as SWMS.
* Team Collaboration
– Manage Work closely with the whole team, assist with inductions for new projects and assist with clock in/ clock out system.
What You Bring:
* Previous experience in office administration and working in small business environments.
* Proven experience in data entry and experience in accounting software (preferably Xero) Preferred but not required.
* Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* A proactive attitude with the ability to resolve issues without needing constant direction
