Job Description

About the opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Melbourne office, working 38 hours per week, with a salary range of $170,000-$180,000 AUD annually.

You will join our Fitness & Wellbeing division, which combines our Boutique Wellness and Health & Fitness businesses to serve clients globally in key markets. We offer leading software products to gyms, health clubs, and recreation centers.

Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, you will lead market development efforts in Australia, focusing on launching and expanding Mariana Tek's presence in this new region.

This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the Mariana Tek platform—whether as a former client, partner, or employee—and who is eager to contribute to our international growth. You will play a crucial role in establishing product-market fit, securing early wins, and building the local team.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing a localized go-to-market strategy for Mariana Tek in Australia
* Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
* Representing Mariana Tek in the Australian market through meetings, industry events, and relationship-building within the fitness ecosystem
* Collaborating with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and positioning
* Hiring, training, and mentoring the first local team member as the region grows
* Partnering with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions from sale to implementation
* Defining operational strategies for regional expansion

We offer a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days in the Melbourne office and the remainder remote.


Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

* Deep familiarity with Mariana Tek platform
* Over 3 years' experience selling SaaS or fitness technology platforms
* Proven success in full-cycle sales and exceeding targets
* Ability to operate independently in a new market with high accountability
* Strong knowledge of the Australian boutique fitness landscape
* Experience recruiting, training, and leading junior team members
* Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and software demonstrations
* Ability to generate, nurture, and convert leads effectively
* Track record of optimizing marketing opportunities and achieving above-target performance, especially in startups
* Competitive, goal-oriented, and a team player, thriving in a fast-paced environment
