Value-Based Care Director
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and scale our team of Advisors and Analysts who work with medical practices across the U.S. to drive performance in value-based care programs like the Medicare Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and strategy—and who is energized by managing teams, improving processes, and delivering measurable impact to clients.
As a Value-Based Care Director, you will oversee a team of Advisors supporting 200+ practices across multiple specialties. You will play a critical role in developing the operational infrastructure, coaching team members, collaborating cross-functionally with Health Policy, Sales, Product, and Operations, and ensuring a seamless, high-impact experience for our provider clients.

Responsibilities
* Practice empathetic leadership, mentor, and coach a small team of Advisors and Analysts who each manage a portfolio of medical practices, such as ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedic, and other medical practice areas.
* Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex client needs and high-profile accounts.
* Develop scalable workflows, playbooks, and training materials to ensure Advisor consistency and impact year-over-year.
* Establish and track team performance metrics (utilization, quality, customer satisfaction, etc.).
* Collaborate with the Health Policy team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, monitor quality assurance, and develop solutions to complex issues.

Client & Program Oversight
* Ensure high standards of service delivery across all client touchpoints, including onboarding, MIPS reporting, Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting program (ASCQR) reporting, and ongoing engagement.
* Partner with the Sales organization to articulate service capabilities, address operational inquiries, scope effort for non-standard opportunities, and join prospect calls to help close new business.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Engineering) to refine the client journey and develop tools that support success in value-based care.
* Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and guide strategic conversations around performance, outcomes, and compliance.
* Lead continuous improvement efforts through analysis, client feedback, and market trends.
* Design and execute a workflow-automation roadmap that streamlines processes, reduces manual effort, and scales service delivery efficiency.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, public health, or related field experience; advanced degree a plus.
* 7+ years in healthcare, including 5+ years' experience in ophthalmology or another medical specialty, including clinical or vendor relevant experience.
* 5+ years leading client-facing teams.
* Deep familiarity with MIPS, value-based care programs.
* Experience in working with QCDRs such as Verana Health and Healthmonix.
* Experience in EHR(s) such as Nextech, Nextgen, EyeMD, iMedicWare, Modernizing Medicine EMA, Epic, Cerner, and Allscripts.
* Demonstrated success managing people, building processes, and improving outcomes in a scaling, client-centric environment.
* Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across functions and levels, with empathy and accountability.
* Analytical and operational mindset with strong Excel/data reporting skills.
* Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient/provider outcomes through technology.
* Comfortable working remotely with geographically distributed teams.
* Must pass initial and periodic background checks, and comply with all applicable HIPAA and Security regulations, including maintaining HIPAA Awareness and Security Certification.
