About the role
Factor1 is seeking an enthusiastic Undergraduate Accountant to join their team in Shepparton, Victoria. This part-time position will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the taxation field and contribute to the company's success.
What you'll be doing
* Assist with the preparation of tax returns and related documentation for individual and small business clients
* Conduct research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance activities
* Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client services
* Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures
* Provide administrative support as needed to the wider accounting department
What we're looking for
* Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Effective communication and client service skills
* Familiarity with relevant tax legislation and compliance requirements
* Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
