The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Civil Supervisor to oversee daily site operations across our civil construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure works are delivered safely on time, and to specification.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role on-site, driving productivity while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
Role Focus:
* Supervise and coordinate daily civil works for allocated project/s to meet time and quality standards.
* Work across a broad range of civil areas, such as Pavements, Service Installation, Stormwater, Comms & Elec, Structures, FRP, Bulk Earthworks and Directional Drilling.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise construction processes.
* Lead and manage site crews and subcontractors, ensuring an engaged workforce and strong retention.
* Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site proactively and promptly.
* Maintain positive relationships and communicate regularly with all relevant stakeholders, in particular the client.
* Ensure compliance with safety legislation, SWMS, permits and company policy and procedure.
* Ability from time to time, to work extended hours, alternative shift schedules and travel away from home, as required by the project.
About You
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
* Proven experience in a similar Civil role 5+ years.
* Experience working in Rail Corridor, Petro-chemical and/or Marine environments.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic resulting in project completion on time and to a high-quality standard.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work on both local and remote projects.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and pass any/all random drug and alcohol tests.
* A commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow procedures and guidelines.
