SESA provides a portfolio of On and Offshore Service and Manufacturing solutions so clients can meet their goals.The Role :To provide technical & commercial leadership within Company Manufacturing Services.
To participate in manufacturing assignments and projects involving research, project development, testing, design, installation, commissioning of equipment and maintenance or construction.
The position will involve effectively coordinating engineering work to contribute to projects and ensure they occur on time and within budget.Responsible for the control and coordination of all production processes to meet customers and 3rd Party licensor requirements, production planning with the aim of ensuring that machinery, equipment, tooling, material, and personnel are available to meet production schedules whilst achieving customer satisfaction and work is carried out in accordance with production targets, the Quality Management System and within the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.Responsible for the Commercial and Operational viability of the Manufacturing Services; (Machine Shop, Fabrication Services and Special Projects).Manage and provide Leadership and Engineering Support to supervisory personnel within Machine Shop and Fabrication Services.Responsible for overseeing and review of job costing, customer invoicing, budgetary related expenses, and existing contracts.
(P&L Accountability).Report weekly and monthly actual and projected budgetary estimates and contribute to annual budgetary planning.Liaise with internal / external customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to promote the Manufacturing Services group.Contribute to a range of engineering projects as required across the organisation in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.Provide oversight to a range of project stakeholders as required to support engineering project delivery.Participate in the development of design standards and recommend modifications.Maintain networks and relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and planning authorities, to effectively deliver technical advice and meet deadlines on engineering projects.Oversee engineering procedures, gather, and correlate basic data and perform detailed or routine engineering duties and standard tests.Assist with and contribute to the design of specific parts or assemblies and standard phases of projects.Measure project costs, efficiencies and quality of deliverables as directed by company management.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation, codes, and policies as they apply to projects, and ensure that all engineering work adheres to regulation and requirements.Responsible for accurately establishing and maintaining all physical site dimensions and controls.Provide help and support to supervisors to enable the facility to reach maximum output.Introduce changes to methods and procedures to increase production and / or efficiency.Monitor daily production and ensure production / delivery targets are met.Monitor operating procedures and ensure systems are implemented to control overall quality of product, to meet customers and 3rd Party licensor requirements.Oversee and verify QA and associated Documentation Packages in connection with completion and delivery of manufactured product.Skills and Experience :Manufacturing qualification with 2-4 years' experience in practical manufacturing / project management.MBA or Business Degree an advantage.Knowledge of Hydraulic Workover and Snubbing Equipment, API 7-1 & API Q1.Knowledge of current practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry, including operating principles and procedures.Knowledge of well control equipment, including principles and procedures.Mechanical understanding of all equipment in use.Knowledge of HSE procedures including reporting processes.Capabilities in contract management, including negotiation and service delivery against contract specifications.Capabilities in resource management, including expenditure monitoring and rectifying issues in a constructive and solution-focused manner.As a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
