The role
National Promotions Manager – Fixed term contract until June2025. Supports the National Account Manager in developing and executing the promotional strategy and trade spend for the Coles channel at a global wine, spirits and champagne company.
The role is based in Perth, but can be located at the Head Office in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Applicants must have working rights in Australia for the contract period.
Responsibilities
- Implement the promotional programme and track its performance.
- Liaise with the customer buying team to agree promotional/activation programmes.
- Manage the financial aspects of category net sales and profit contribution within trade spend.
- Own pricing realisation and cost‐increase submissions, implementing them in market as part of customer plans.
- Support the National Account Manager in developing category‐specific customer plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partner with customers and execute promotional strategies.
- Contribute as a team player to the commercial team's culture and success.
Qualifications
- Background in FMCG or a professional services industry.
- Experience as a Revenue Growth Analyst, Category Analyst, Finance Business Analyst or Key Account Manager.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of commercial finance and business planning processes.
- Excellent relationship‐building skills with a solution‐focused attitude.
- Demonstrated understanding of business reviews and category reviews.
