An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mental Health Clinician who loves working with youth and young people to join our team providing individualised care to mental health consumers on their journeys to recovery. If this sounds like you, come and join our team and work as part of the Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, Early Psychosis Programme (EPP). This is a permanent full-time position.
The Early Psychosis Programme is a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing specialist treatment to young people (14-25yrs) who are at risk of, or are experiencing psychosis. The Clinician will plan, coordinate and deliver high quality consumer focused, individually tailored, clinical services to support the recovery process for young people experiencing psychosis and their families, consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards, and with early intervention principles.

Selection Criteria
* Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and: For Occupational Therapy and Social Work, registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with the AASW (as applicable); and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development). For psychology, recognised 4-year degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA. For Nursing, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated core competency skills in youth mental health and first episode psychosis.
* Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage consumers and their families and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence-based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
* Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
* Demonstrated participation in quality improvement processes or research, commensurate with years of experience
* Demonstrated ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
