Job Title: Treasurer - Financial Administrator
**About the Role:**
Australian National Capital Artists (ANCA) is an independent not-for-profit artist-run initiative. As a key member of our Board, you will play a pivotal role in shaping ANCA's legacy as one of the ACT's oldest and most respected initiatives.
**Responsibilities Include:**
Ensuring accurate financial records are kept
Reviewing monthly financial reports
Preparing the annual budget
Providing advice and information to the Board while participating in decision making process
Working with the Studio Manager and bookkeeper to ensure compliance with financial and reporting obligations
**Requirements:**
Financial management and budgeting skills
Experience in financial reporting and planning
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field favourable but not necessary
**As a Board Member You Will:**
Participate in monthly governance meetings
Contribute to strategic planning and project-based work
