Disability Support Role
We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Warwick. Our team supports individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible, providing support, assistance, and understanding.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, overnights (minimum 2 per fortnight). A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting clients with sensitive manners and understanding complex behaviors.
* Documenting client appointments and maintaining accurate records.
* Providing assistance with daily living activities and promoting independence.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
* The capacity to meet physical requirements as some manual handling tasks may be involved.
* A Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and an open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
