Skills and Experience required for the role's:
* Australian C Class drivers license (Minimum)
* Construction White Card
* Recognised Trade certificate or relevant Australian Experience (carpenters)
* Minesite, modular building, non-process infrastructure and contracting experience preferred but not essential.
* Police Clearance and the ability to pass pre-employment testing for site readiness
Carpenters must be able to confidently carry out the following tasks: Construct steel structures and patios/veranda's, office partitioning/gyprocking, install doors and windows, minor renovation works removing and installing kitset cabinetry, install conventional formwork, basic steel fixing, assist in pouring ground slabs/footings/footpaths/verandah's/plinths
Concreters would Ideally have a minimum of 3 yrs exp, and 1-2 year exp in a similar environment to the Pilbara Iron Ore mining conditions. It is expected the applicants can efficiently interpret plans for set up, install basic reinforcing, screed & finish with both hand tools and machine finish, both to a high standard.
Operators applying must have a sound knowledge of detailed earthworks and small project based civil work with a minimum of the following tickets and experience operating: Excavator, skidsteer, loader/IT and HR/HC drivers licence
Attention to detail and the ability to trouble shoot effectively
Ability to safely work at heights with HRWL - EWP above 11m and working at heights current within 2 years
Ability to competently read drawings and apply accuracy
General construction knowledge of associate trades and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety essential
