About the role
As a Retail Assistant at Ingham Road Seafood, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store. This full-time position is based in our Townsville, Queensland location and offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and customer-focused team.
What you'll be doing
* Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
* Operating the cash register and processing sales transactions efficiently
* Restocking and organising seafood display cabinets to maintain a well-presented store
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards
* Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude
* Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
