About the role
Looking to make a strategic impact in Defence aviation? This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to the sustainment of one of Australia\'s most advanced airborne capabilities - the MC-55A Peregrine, Defence\'s newest platform for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare.
As an Aerospace Engineer - Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance, the role involves close collaboration with Defence stakeholders and industry partners to deliver both internal and external aviation regulatory and quality oversight. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the airworthiness, reliability, and mission-readiness of the MC-55A Peregrine fleet.

What you will be working on
* Manage the MC-55A Peregrine Engineering Compliance Assurance Program, ensuring alignment with Defence Aviation policies and regulations.
* Assess the MC-55A Engineering Management Systems to verify compliance with applicable Defence standards.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the MC-55A Enterprise.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of Defence personnel and contractors to deliver outcomes that uphold the airworthiness and operational readiness of the MC-55A Peregrine fleet.
What we would like from you
* Degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with relevant post-graduate experience and/or demonstrated industry experience in Defence Aviation regulatory compliance and quality management
* Experience in Defence engineering within a CASG Aircraft Sustainment System Program Office (SPO)
* Previous experience in quality auditing / quality management
* Must hold an NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance and be an Australian citizen
