As our operations continue to grow, we're expanding our engineering team and looking for a skilled and motivated AW139 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join us on a touring roster. This roster is 15 days on / 13 days off.## About the RoleAs part of our maintenance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance activities on our AW139 fleet. You'll bring strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and experience working on medium helicopters.### What you'll be doing:* Planning and preparing for maintenance tasks, ensuring all parts, GSE, tooling, manpower, and documentation are available before work begins.* Performing scheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft to maximise availability.* Coordinating, supervising, and conducting troubleshooting and rectification for unscheduled maintenance needs.* Supporting aircraft ranging, husbandry, and recovery activities.* Preparing fly-away kits and conducting maintenance during deployments.* Maintaining a safe workspace and consistently applying safe work practices.## What we're looking for* Completed mechanical trade qualification.* CASA Part 66 B1.3 licence with AW139 type rating.* MEA40715 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent.* Strong experience on AW139 or other medium helicopters.* High level of trade aptitude.* Ability to travel from an airport with regular domestic flights.* Eligible for Defence Security Clearance.### More about you:* Experience in general aircraft maintenance practices.* Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Regulations.* Self-motivated with a flexible, team-focused attitude.* Willingness to support all aspects of base engineering.* MEA41322 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
