Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps solutions focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This includes building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using OCI DevOps tools (SCM, Pipelines), managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, and ensuring reliable build, test, and deployment processes. The role supports the automation, scalability, and security of cloud-based environments while adhering to industry and organizational best practices. Continuous evaluation and adoption of advancements in cloud DevOps practices is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using OCI DevOps tools (e.g., OCI SCM, OCI Pipelines), and other tooling, to automate code build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage infrastructure as code on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure utilizing Terraform for scalable and consistent environment provisioning.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement cloud automation and integration best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD workflows and cloud infrastructure to ensure high reliability, performance, and security.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across cloud-based deployment and operations.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation for issues within the CI/CD pipeline or OCI cloud environments.
- Maintain documentation for DevOps processes, architecture, and compliance standards.
Main Duties:
- Ensure timely delivery of robust and automated cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions that meet business requirements
- Continuously update knowledge of DevOps best practices, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, and automation tools, and share insights with the team
- Advocate and uphold high standards of automation, testing, and security in all DevOps processes
- Proactively collaborate with team members to identify, implement, and document improvements in deployment and operational workflows
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance in areas of cloud automation, pipeline optimization, and infrastructure as code
Qualifications & Skills Requirement:
- At least 4 years of experience with infrastructure as code, particularly using Terraform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
-Experience with Oracle based systems, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle APEX
- Proficient with source control systems, especially Git
- At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
- Familiarity with automation and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Chef)
-At least 3 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
-At least 1 year of experience with helm.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for cloud-based applications and deployment workflows
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Desirable:
At least 2 years of Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including OCI DevOps tools such as OCI SCM, OCI Pipelines, and terraform on OCI.
Knowledge and experience with Go-Live Production Processes, and internal security architecture reviews and approvals in a corporate setting.
