We are currently seeking a driven and motivated leader to join our state-of-the-art facility and team as the Joinery Factory Foreman.
Based at our Gold Coast, Stapylton manufacturing facility we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Individual. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will need to be highly motivated, passionate about safe work practices, and take pride in your workmanship.
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Business Ethics: Treats people with respect. Keeps commitments. Inspires the trust of others.
- Quality: Develop and maintain a high level of quality in joinery processing and waste reduction. Planned and breakdown maintenance management
- Purchasing: Work with the purchasing team to ensure raw material is monitored to resource production requirements
- Despatch: Ensure product in complete in full, ready for installation team.
- Team Support: Contribute to the broader responsibilities and plans of the team, and foster a positive team culture. Assist in training and upskilling team members. Provide direction and leadership.
- Business Support: Contribute to the broader tasks, goals, plans and projects of the business unit, and actively seek ways to build our business safely and ethically, invest in our people, serve our customers, deliver on our promises and improve every day
- Technical Knowledge / Integrated Systems Experience: Preferably Trade Qualified in Cabinet Making/Joinery. Experience in manufacturing and installing custom high end joinery an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy - committed to work quality
- Knowledge of equipment such as CNC, edge banders &Beam saws.
- Understand the wardrobe installation process.
