Beverage Server Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Beverage Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to our guests while providing beverage services in a friendly and professional manner.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Order taking and drink retrieval for guests, utilizing the point-of-sale system.
* Collecting and serving completed orders from bartenders and/or kitchen staff.
* Accurate bill computation, payment handling, and making change as needed.
* Maintaining awareness of state, federal, and local liquor regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages.
* Proper disposal and return of empty or dirty glassware and serviceware to the bar or kitchen area for cleaning.
* Ongoing communication with guests to provide additional service and refill beverages as required.
* Performing cleaning duties using standard cleaning products according to health and safety guidelines.
* Participation in training sessions, safety meetings, and departmental gatherings as scheduled.
* Demonstrating superior guest service and adhering to our Guest Service Standards.
**Essential Requirements**
To excel in this position, you should have:
* A minimum age requirement of 21 years.
* A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
* Food Handler or ServSafe certification and Responsible Alcohol Service certification, or proof of current certification.
* The ability to read and write English fluently to comprehend menus, promotions, take orders, and interact with guests.
* The capacity to recall and communicate menu items and special promotions.
* Experience handling cash transactions.
* The capability to learn and operate the point-of-sale system.
* The ability to transport trays of beverages through a busy environment during your shift.
* A neat and well-presented appearance at all times.
* Excellent judgment and organizational skills.
* PASSING A MANDATORY DRUG TEST AND OBTAINING A VALID GAMING LICENSE ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.
* PROVIDING EVIDENCE OF EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY IN THE U.S IS REQUIRED.
