We're now seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team and help maintain the exceptional standards our products are known for.
Position Overview: We're looking for a hands-on and detail-focused Spray Painter with experience in spray application for furniture, cabinetry, or similar surface finishing. This role involves working independently to apply high-quality finishes to our concrete products using specialised spray equipment and techniques.
You'll be responsible for maintaining finish consistency, managing your workspace, and ensuring adherence to company formulas and procedures. As this position may operate as a standalone role, we're seeking someone who is self-driven, accountable, and capable of managing their workflow to meet daily targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and finish concrete basins and bathtubs using spray equipment and specified formulas.
* Mix and apply coatings, sealers, or finishes according to production requirements.
* Maintain quality standards, ensuring every product meets Nood Co's finish expectations.
* Clean, calibrate, and maintain spray equipment and booth area.
* Proactively communicate with management regarding formula changes, material needs, or process improvements.
* Conduct quality checks and correct inconsistencies before sign-off.
* Work efficiently and safely while maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in spray painting, ideally within furniture, cabinetry, or surface finishing industries (automotive experience will also be considered).
* Strong understanding of finish quality, consistency, and surface preparation.
* High attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in repetitive work.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the spray area.
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive in maintaining standards and communicating needs.
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks safely.
* A positive attitude and willingness to align with Nood Co's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of spray painting experience.
* Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Must have current Police Check.
