About the Role
As an Export Airfreight Operator, you will manage end‑to‑end export processes to ensure every shipment departs smoothly and on time. This is a hands‑on role involving frequent airline coordination, high‑volume email communication, and accurate data entry. You'll play a key role in securing space, sourcing competitive rates, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure competitive airline rates and ensure appropriate space allocations for export uplift
* Prepare, manage, and lodge all export freight on time for scheduled departures
* Conduct weekly ring‑arounds to drive export growth and promote priority trade lanes
* Coordinate and monitor the building of export airfreight consolidations ex BNE
* Deliver professional, timely, and proactive customer service
* Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in all export processes
What You'll Bring
* High School Certificate (or relevant experience in lieu)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding industry
* Specific experience in export airfreight operations
* Strong understanding of airline processes and export documentation
* Full Australian working rights
* A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
