Engineering Trainer & Assessor (Boiler Maker or Fabrication)
We're seeking a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to deliver the MEM20422 Certificate II in Engineering Pathways at our Collingwood Park (4301) campus.
This role is your chance to use your industry skills to support disadvantaged learners, help them build confidence, and open doors to life‑changing opportunities.
Essential Requirements
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
* Relevant Engineering qualifications
* Strong knowledge of the Engineering industry
* Experience in mentoring or supporting young people
* Recent, practical industry experience
* Current Driver's Licence

* Supporting our program through employer engagement
* Teaching and assessing Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
* Planning lessons and updating training materials
* Using varied teaching methods to keep learners engaged
* Marking and submitting assessments on time
* Assisting students with securing work placements
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress
