Fortron Automotive Treatments, a well-known and long established WA company who specialise in manufacturing and distribution of a comprehensive range of automotive treatments, workshop service equipment and aftercare products throughout Australia is looking for a State Sales Manager to join the team.
Your primary role will be to assist with the development and promotion of Fortron products in the Western Australian automotive industry. Provide direction and management to the company's BDCs and to assist the management group on all automotive issues.
Additionally, you will:
• Carry out tasks as allocated by the National Sales Manager and Managing Director.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain client relationships and business arrangements.
• Facilitate meetings and issues with BDCs, arrange and chair fortnightly sales meetings.
• Follow up issues arising with senior management.
• Provide training to BDCs in demo sequences and service equipment operation.
• Arrange BDC sales targets and monitor monthly sales targets.
• Assist BDCs in the field on a regular basis.
• Assist and represent the company at annual promotional events. MC if required.
• Identify opportunities for improving Fortron's supply process in line with QMS ISO-9001.
About you
This opportunity would suit an experienced and motivated person who is passionate about the automotive industry and leading a high performing team.
Further, your skills and experience should ideally include:
• Minimum 5 years' service management or sale related experience
• Proven experience in a sales or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in sale strategy, people leadership and business development.
• Strong planning, communication and organisational skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Proactive solutions-oriented person who can work collaboratively across teams
