The Role
- Develop and implement community engagement plan and strategies by working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to facilitate inclusive and innovative activities.
- Advocate for improved services and ensure program is culturally safe and responsive to community needs.
- Build positive relationships with individuals, lead discussion and focus groups, and serve as a vital link to the community.
About You
- Understand AOD support, harm reduction and prevention services.
- Experience in community development or health promotion.
- Knowledge in building and maintaining networks and relationships with other health services or community organisations.
- Experience in working with community members from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Tertiary qualification in AOD, community services or related field (desirable)
