Routes: Running to various locations around Perth WA
Locations: Based in Forrestfield
Hours: Minimum shift of 8 hours with regular overtime
What you'll do:
* Operation of Single Trailers and Pocket Road Trains
* Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
* Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
* Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
* Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
* Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
* A valid HC or MC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
* MSIC card – Highly desirable
* Experience operating Tautliners, Prairie, flatbeds, extendable trailers.
* Sound knowledge of the Perth metro area
* Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
* Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
* Have excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
* A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
* BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
* Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
