About the Role:
* You will report directly to a senior IT Manager and be given significant responsibility.
* Respond promptly to support requests received in person, via phone, email, and internal systems.
* Understand the level of disruption caused by issues and resolve them efficiently.
* Communicate clearly with staff regarding resolving issues and available workarounds while problems are resolved.
* Collaborate with other staff members in the IT team to ensure issues are addressed effectively.
* Set up new equipment as required by staff members.
* Maintain user access to IT systems, including for new staff, staff who change roles, or staff who leave.
* Provide feedback to the senior IT Manager regarding issues raised to prevent future occurrences.
* Offer on-site support and remediation of IT issues across all sites.
Key Requirements:
* A relevant IT certification or equivalent experience is mandatory.
* Experience supporting a large and complex organisation is essential.
* Excellent communication and service delivery skills are required.
* The ability to work well with an IT team is necessary.
* Familiarity with Windows Server Administration, Windows desktop support, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Mobility, Remote Access, Networking, and Cyber Security is a must.
