Job Description As a Quantitative Analyst within our Benchmarking & Insights team, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, meaningful, and high‑impact data products for clients across the finance, property, and banking sectors. Using your strong analytical mindset and passion for uncovering the “why” behind data, you will support the full reporting lifecycle, from validation to analysis to creating dashboards and commentary that drive understanding and value. You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, Quantitative Analysis, and collaborate across the wider analytics team to ensure our insights are precise, trusted, and continuously improving. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our analytics solutions while contributing to Cotality’s mission of fuelling a smarter, more connected property ecosystem. What you will be doing Preparing and delivering accurate reports, dashboards, charts, and analytical commentaries using Tableau and advanced Excel. Conducting thorough data validation, identifying anomalies, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings. Collaborating with data collection coordinators to ensure surveys and questionnaires are accurate and returned on schedule. Assisting with ad‑hoc reporting requests and supporting preparations for client presentations. Contributing to the growth of our BI Portal (Google Cloud Platform & BigQuery). Applying data visualisation best practices to strengthen clarity and insights across reporting outputs. Supporting the broader analytics team with market analysis work. Taking reasonable care for health and safety and complying with Cotality’s WHS framework. Essential Job Qualifications: 2 years' experience in a reporting analyst role or similar. Demonstrated proficiency and commercial experience using Tableau to build and maintain dashboards. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, Lookups, VBA) and strong PowerPoint capability. Previous experience in a data analysis, reporting, or quantitative analyst role using Python or R. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Proactive problem‑solver with a genuine interest in data analytics, banking, and financial markets. Preferred Experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly with residential mortgages or secured lending. Familiarity with SQL and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics). Why Join Cotality?
