Operational support team leader

As the Operational Support Team Leader, you'll oversee the administration and operational support teams responsible for delivering accurate transactional processing, maintaining compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple sites. Your leadership will be critical in supporting our road maintenance contracts and keeping business functions running efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop administration and depot support staff across multiple SA locations
Manage end-to-end transactional processing including purchase orders, invoicing, progress claims and billing
Ensure accurate work order setup, job costing, daily shift reporting and depot based documentation
Oversee compliance, quality control, archiving and adherence to financial and operational systems
Build effective relationships with internal teams, depots, subcontractors and suppliers
Identify process and system improvements to drive efficiency and consistency
Provide onsite support across regional depots as needed (travel required)

What you'll bring
Demonstrated experience leading administration or finance teams in a fast paced operational or depot environment
Strong organisational capability with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with ERP systems (JDEGS, SAP, Oracle or similar)
Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and high volume workflows
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills
