For our **Australia & New Zealand Region Sales, Business Development and Marketing** division, we are interested in working with industry-experienced Regional Territory Sales and Business Development Managers in various major manufacturing states and cities in Australia and also New Zealand.
**Products**:MIG MAG TIG welding filler metals (Wires/Rods Electrodes), Welding Machines, Welding Parts, Accessories as well as flanges and steel materials for shipbuilding / shipyard use.
Below are the general requirements / preferred skills for the above-mentioned position:
- Prospect new customers and establish contacts to seize market opportunities, take charge of all stages of the sales cycle; from introducing the company to customer service as well as managing after-sales
- Accompany customers through pre-tender discussions and consultations, site visits, technical and commercial support throughout the project development process and commercial negotiations for the sale
- Visiting and participating in industry trade shows, contacting local factories, regional distributors / import-export companies in our sector, planning visits to key accounts.
- Learn about customer needs, prepare offers, send data sheets, company catalogs, help with the preparation of RFQs, RFIs, RFPs and schedule online meetings to present the company and products.
- Communicate with the head office in Asia to organize product samples, collect logístical and financial information, coordinate with customers and office management
- Work closely with industry players and internal teams to maintain a detailed understanding of the market, client account activities and new project opportunities
- Negotiate with customers and coordinate the internal resources necessary for the proper closing of contracts on time
Job requirements
- In addition to English, skills in Chinese Mandarin will be a major plus for communicating with the HQ team but not a must
- Around 5-10 years of experience in direct sales / key account management
- Experience in the metal, machinery, shipbuilding, metallurgy, steel industry or a background in engineering or metallurgy will be considered an advantage for faster adaptation to the position.
- Work personality requirements include, disciplined, organized, outgoing, punctual
- Ability to work independently, methodical and mobile, you know how to negotiate and have a good command of reporting tools.
