Anaesthesiologist Head of Perioperative

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this role directs and guides the Anaesthetic group across a range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, including in-theatre, acute pain, preadmission clinic, and delivery suite, and undertake other clinical and non-clinical duties as determined by the Director of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, applying theoretical knowledge and experience to determine appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations and treatment of patients.
Supervise registrars/provisional trainees, HMOs and interns in the Anaesthetics Department.
Assist in the management of the Preadmission Clinic and Acute Pain Service.

FANZCA qualification.
