Real Care Disability is a leader in providing high-quality, participant-focused support across Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia. We’re currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join our rural team and make a genuine difference in the lives of NDIS participants.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will work directly with participants to deliver individualized care and empower them to live with dignity, autonomy, and purpose. You’ll help facilitate daily living, community engagement, skill development, and wellbeing based on each participant’s goals and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care and support aligned with NDIS goals
Assist with daily living tasks (e.g., hygiene, mobility, meal preparation)
Facilitate social and community participation
Support skill-building activities and independence
Collaborate respectfully with participants, families, and allied professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold participant privacy
Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviours or support needs
Qualifications & Skills
Certificate III or IV in Disability or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (Victoria)
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills
Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respectful care practices
