About this Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for you as a non-VR General Practitioner to receive fully funded training to complete your Fellowship. You will become a General Practitioner - RVTS Registrar - ACCHO – Mareeba, Cairns, Queensland.

Your Support
You will be supported by RVTS through weekly webinars, face-to-face workshops, online resources, on-site clinical teaching, remote supervision and exam preparation.
Practice Information
This practice delivers holistic primary health care and are supported by nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, allied health and specialist outreach clinics. Their facilities include treatment rooms for minor procedures, tests and immunisations.
Location
Work between Mareeba and Kuranda which are situated on the Tablelands.
Area of Practice
As the gateway to Cape York the location offers access to a diverse landscape including The Great Barrier Reef, world heritage rainforests, crater lakes, expansive savannahs and wetlands.
Position Description
This is a unique opportunity to expand your medical knowledge, skill base, and cultural knowledge. As the successful General Practitioner, you will manage both acute and chronic conditions within a multidisciplinary team approach.
Qualifications & Experience
General AHPRA registration or Limited / Provisional AHPRA registration (Level 2 supervision minimum).
Remuneration Package
You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package including a competitive base salary + superannuation, salary packaging options and WIP incentive (MM4) up to $18K per annum, 5 weeks annual leave, 12 days personal leave and 15 days study leave per annum. Relocation and accommodation assistance is also available.
