This role oversees sales operations in South Australia and Western Australia, utilizing the Retail Expert Partner (Installer) channel. The primary objective is to establish strong business relationships, drive growth, and support partners by promoting a diverse range of products and solutions that cater to customer needs and increase market share.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and territory management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B and B2C settings. A degree qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, results-driven, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should also be skilled at multitasking, prioritizing goals, and working under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive business growth by achieving sales targets and maintaining profitability
* Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies to grow the territory
* Build and manage strong customer relationships
* Negotiate agreements, define service policies, and close sales effectively
* Identify and approach new retail customers and opportunities, presenting products and solutions to expand business
* Respond to customer inquiries with excellent product knowledge and service
* Gather and analyze customer, competitor, and market data
* Develop sales plans to introduce products into new markets
* Assist Managers with sales forecasting and planning to meet overall business goals
* Deliver technical and non-technical training and provide ongoing product support
* Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, special events, and demonstrations
* Provide updates on new products and discuss upcoming promotions
* Coordinate with Technical teams to resolve product or service issues
* Perform other ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and territory management (B2B & B2C)
* Degree qualification desirable but not essential
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to achieve sales targets
* Good business sense and knowledge of the market and competitors
* Strong written and verbal communication, with confident presentation and negotiation skills
* Builds positive relationships with internal teams and external partners
* Enjoys networking and connecting with new people
* Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing goals, and working to tight deadlines
* Well-organized, practical, and proactive in approach
* Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
* Energetic and motivated, while also being a reliable team player

* Professional in conduct and business interactions
* Quick to understand technical products and industry terms
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint); knowledge of MS Teams is a plus
* Experienced and committed user of Salesforce (CRM) for reporting, planning, and tracking market and competitor data
