Full Time Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our theatre team in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a full-time position with a minimum 2-year contract.
Job Summary:
This role involves working as part of a busy theatre team across a range of surgical specialties, with a focus on orthopaedics. You will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist surgeons during operations and maintain a clean and safe environment
* Prepare operating theatres and equipment for procedures
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the anaesthetist or surgeon
* Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A minimum of 3 years experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Basic life support training and certification
