About the Role
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will have responsibility for supervision of a site workgroup as well as providing practical assistance in the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance for the CoGen at Racecourse Mill. We're looking for a qualified tradesperson with strong interpersonal skills and expertise in maintaining boiler plant and steam turbine, to become a key member of the Racecourse Maintenance Team, ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
As a minimum you will:
* Hold relevant engineering trade qualifications;
* Have a minimum of five (5) years post trade experience;
* Have strong, well developed interpersonal communication skills,
* Have the capability to lead the maintenance of boiler plant, steam turbines and materials handling equipment;
* Have specific experience and knowledge of typical maintenance practices in boiler plant, auxiliary boiler plant and turbines;
* Have basic computer skills;
* Have the capability to work within and provide leadership to a work team; and
* A dedicated commitment to safety in the workplace
