The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Insurance Broker / Account Manager
to join our Byron Bay branch. This role is responsible for managing and servicing an existing portfolio of
commercial and domestic insurance clients
, while also identifying opportunities to
grow the portfolio through new business and cross-selling
.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and wants to further develop their career within a growing national broking group.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and service an established portfolio of commercial and domestic insurance clients
* Provide high-quality advice and tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs
* Prepare renewals, quotations, policy documentation, endorsements, and claims assistance
* Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
* Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio through new business, upselling, and cross-selling
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and PSC internal requirements
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
* Contribute positively to the Byron Bay branch culture and team collaboration
About You
* Experience working as an Insurance Broker or Account Manager (commercial and/or domestic)
* Strong customer service and relationship management skills
* A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and develop a portfolio
* Good understanding of insurance products, policy wordings, and insurer markets
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously while also being a team player
* Tier 1 qualification (or equivalent) preferred
* Experience with broking systems and Microsoft Office
