Position Summary:
As our Process Engineer, you will work directly with the Process Engineering Manager and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing processes for a growing division of a multi-billion dollar, public company. Responsibilities include understanding the unique process technology, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, developing process capabilities, achieving quality standards, and ensuring exceptional internal and external customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
* Education: Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent work/education experience
* Hands-on mechanical experience
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Skills: material science, components, processes, electrical/mechanical testing, regulatory approvals; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Access database navigation, Internet; excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Provide process capability information during pre-order efforts
* Support production to keep jobs moving
* Improve processes to reduce processing time and costs
* Provide process information to the design team on new jobs
* Support scheduled preventive maintenance activities and equipment upkeep
* Ensure safety and participate in training
* Champion Winchester culture and create a strong business unit
* Create and maintain a task tracking system for the process group and monitor metrics
* Develop a process information system for the process group
* Lead process improvement teams to enhance processes and support customers
* Gain comprehensive knowledge of all processes
* Diagnose production equipment issues and suggest improvements
