Dry Creek, Adelaide, SA - Other LocationsCategories:Administration / Office Support, Transport Operations & LogisticsLocation: Dry Creek - Adelaide, South AustraliaAbout the Role:Aurizon’s footprint in South Australia continues to grow, and we’re seeking a motivated planning professional to support critical supply chain initiatives.As a Fleet & Demand Planner, you’ll develop demand forecasts and material plans to ensure the timely supply of essential resources. You’ll work with internal stakeholders to monitor performance, manage risks, and deliver practical planning solutions that support safe and reliable operations.Key responsibilities include:Creating and maintaining effective load and material demand plansProviding accurate forecasting data to support the timely supply and delivery of materialsCollaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure planning documentation and schedules are up to dateAnalysing performance trends and identifying areas for improvementMonitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess, and recommending corrective actionsProducing regular planning reports and updates for key stakeholdersAbout You:You’re a proactive and organised planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You bring experience in supply chain or logistics planning and enjoy translating complex information into clear, actionable plans.To be successful in this role, you’ll have:Experience working in supply chain and/or heavy industryStrong analytical skills and experience in forecasting and modellingProficiency in Excel and planning/forecasting systemsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalThe ability to work independently and collaborativelyA proactive mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesThis role would be suitable for a FIFO arrangement from Adelaide, or a DIDO arrangement from Whyalla or Port Augusta on a rotational rosterBroader supply chain knowledgeExperience using supply chain planning software and modelling toolsWhat We Offer:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
