About the Role
In the next stage of our business growth, we have multiple vacancies for Electronics Technicians at our Malaga premises.
Day to day you will be providing hands‐on technical support, maintenance, and service for Radlink's communications systems. This role ensures operational continuity, maintains service standards for clients, and supports project delivery during a period of team transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the on‐call roster and respond to incidents independently and effectively.
* Complete tasks assigned by the manager in a timely manner, maintaining a high standard of quality.
* Prepare quotes for service work, ensuring accurate estimation of time and costs.
* Carry out service restorations and corrective actions to minimise customer downtime, escalating complex issues to senior technical staff or management as required.
* Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities and manage associated project works.
* Assist with commissioning new communications systems and provide technical support throughout the process.
* Liaise with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear and effective communication of technical requirements and service status.
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III in Electronics and Communications (UEE30911) or similar trade qualification in Communications Technician, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
* We will consider relevant industry experience in lieu of formal qualifications where demonstrated competency exists.
* Experience with mining, oil and gas industry is preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining telecommunications equipment.
* Familiarity with Internet Protocol (IP) networking.
* Experience with antenna systems and multicoupling systems.
* Experience with digital (TETRA, P25, DMR), analogue radio systems, and microwave links.
* Minimum 5 years hands‐on experience with digital radio systems including TETRA, P25, or DMR technologies.
* Ability to fault find to component level and read complex circuit diagrams.
* Sound judgement with the ability to make appropriate decisions with limited direction.
* Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
* Good analytical, problem‐solving, and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* Current C‐Class Driver's Licence.
* Recent National Police History Check.
