Due to an exciting phase of growth, Autonomo is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Mechatronics and Graduates Accepted) to assist in catalogueing and design, for integration of Mining Technologies including Autonomous Vehicle systems.

Role
* Use CAD (Inventor/Vault, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical) software to create models and drawings of products and assemblies.
* Organize and maintain engineering records.
* Assess and maintain to Australian Standards.
* Apply working knowledge of manufacturing processes to product design.
* Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify improvements.
* Research new materials and methods of product development.
* Design and develop new products and prototypes.
* Develop electrical schematics and harness drawings.
* Operate 3D scanner to Scope machinery.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced Draftsperson
* Undergraduates may be considered depending on level of studies and other prior work/CAD experience.
* Preference for minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor level engineering degree (mechanical, manufacturing, mining, mechatronics, electrical).
* Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
* Professional experience with CAD software & design.
* Experience contributing to technical engineering teams.
* Natural drive to find innovative solutions to challenging problems.
* Professional, self-motivated, detail oriented & accountable.
