Roster Management Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Roster Management Specialist to join our team for a fixed-term part-time role based in Armidale, Coffs Harbour or Tamworth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage the roster according to the Annual Workforce Plan.
* Respond promptly to client and stakeholder enquiries via phone and email.
* Schedule support staff and ensure all shifts are filled in a timely manner.
* Demonstrate an understanding of client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients and deliver services in line with their care plan.
* Identify gaps in the roster to ensure there is a pool of support workers credentialed and ready for shifts.
* Regularly supervise support workers.
* Develop effective relationships and communicate effectively within all divisions of Home Care.
* Report incidents immediately in line with the Home Care Incident reporting policies.
* Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Prompt communication skills to answer phone/email enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in rostering within the healthcare sector (desired).
* A driven, passionate, and dedicated individual who can schedule effective services for clients and staff.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Current or willingness to obtain a National Police check.
