Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all material-related activities for large projects within the oil and gas sector.
* Utilise SAP to maintain accurate records of material inventories, procurement orders, and material movements.
* Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
* Develop and implement material management strategies to optimise costs and enhance project efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding material handling and safety.
* Resolve any material-related issues that may arise during project execution.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of material coordinators and support staff.
Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in material management within the oil and gas industry.
* Proficient in SAP with hands-on experience in material management modules.
* Demonstrated experience managing materials for large-scale projects.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
