Job Title: Business Support Officer
Location: Local Council
Employment Type: Casual (38hrs a week, with potential for full-time permanent positions)
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Business Support Officer to provide vital administrative support to our Community Care team. In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality In-Home Support services by managing customer inquiries, supporting staff recruitment and training, and helping with daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner, developing strong relationships with both clients and internal team members.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, and distribution of rosters and resources.
- Provide support with reports, meetings, and other administrative tasks.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and assist with OH&S; audits.
- Support various projects related to service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with privacy legislation and confidentiality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in office administration and proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with client management systems and complex rostering.
- Solid organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Office administration qualification or experience in community care or local government is desirable.
- Willingness to complete relevant training, including RCD Safety switch checking.
