About the Hospital
The Hospital is a level 3/4 Base Hospital within the Northern NSW Local Health District. It provides acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, paediatric, anaesthetic, geriatric, obstetric and maternity, intensive and critical care, renal, oncology, palliative care, emergency, some specialist outpatient services and day surgery facilities to the people of the Clarence Valley. There is also a large range of Community Health services, including; Aboriginal health, Mental health, Rehabilitation and Extended Care [non hospital], Drug and Alcohol, Sexual health, Children's and Women's health.
