About the Role
We're looking for a Mine Geologist to join our client in North Queensland. Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will be a critical part of the support services team.
You'll provide geological support to the operation to ensure safe and efficient production, and assistwith planning exploration, gas compliance drilling, sampling and other geological-related studies. Reporting to management on geological issues, you'll be involved in UGlongwall, bord & pillar and development mapping andauditing. You'll work onmine documentation including grade plans, fault plans, borehole intersection notices, contour plans and geological hazard plans.
* Map, auditand report on relevant geological issues
* Assist with various planning, compliance, and other related studies
* Provide geological inputs for mine documentation
About You
You have a comprehensiveknowledge of UG mining environmentsand are proficient with relevant industry software.Your strong interpersonal and communication skills allow youto form strong working relationships with your co-workers.
* Tertiary qualificationin geology
* Experience in the UG mine environment preferred
