The role of Social Media Audience Development Lead, Content & Brand is a new role focused on leading the social media publishing strategy across Content & Brand and lead strategies to engage and recruit off-platform audiences!
What you'll do:
- Influencing the behaviour of others by leading and demonstrating our Values and the Sky Leadership Behaviours!
- Driving an environment where people are treated with integrity and respect, people feel their loyalty and contribution is recognised and valued, and where flexibility & innovation is encouraged
- Thoroughly understanding of cultural sensitivities, D&I issues and the role entertainment can play in delivering more inclusive environments
- Responsibility for maintaining Sky as a leading social media publisher that delivers meaningful revenues to the business
- Pursue a content strategy that highlights and supports stories that balance key business narratives with what our audiences want to engage with
- Develop and deliver social media strategies that reach, engage and recruit Sky users, viewers and customers of the future
- Delight our audiences by producing and publishing content with creativity and to first-class editorial standards
- Build and manage relationships with wider partners: Marketing, PR, influencers, Content, Sky Media,
- Work within financial limits and take responsibility for the budget issued
What you'll bring:
- Experience setting audience development strategies in a brand social or publishing environment
- Strong communicator used to working with multi-disciplined rostered team working in 24 x 7 production environments
- Confidence to challenge, disrupt and take calculated risks
- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment
