Fetch Recruitment are seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our Tier 2 Civil Contractor client on projects throughout North Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile civil contractor while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
This role will include working on flagship projects within the subdivision, infrastructure, road upgrades and other civil sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures across the project site.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
* Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
* Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves
* Ideally proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in the civil construction industry.
* Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field. (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum OR open to completing a Certificate 4).
* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSE standards and legislation.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
