Mental Health Clinician – Child And Adolescent
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical expertise and specialized knowledge to plan, coordinate, and implement evidence-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate assessment and treatment to children and adolescents in acute mental health distress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans as needed
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans
Requirements:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
* Strong clinical skills and experience working with children and adolescents
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Current unrestricted Australian driver's license
