Overview of the role:
As a Staff Development Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through your expertise in education, leadership, and quality management. You will plan, implement, and evaluate tailored educational activities that meet our staff's evolving needs, thereby ensuring quality and safe practice standards are maintained.
Ideal Candidate
* Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Proven experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating education programmes.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong presentation and communication abilities.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to diverse group dynamics.
* Familiarity with quality management and accreditation processes.
* Competent in computer skills, including online policy navigation and e-learning.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-education.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to inform the design and evaluation of evidence-based educational programmes.
* Maintain accurate records of all training activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
* Facilitate core in-service programmes and act as a key link to the Regional Learning and Development Committee for wider staff development initiatives.
* Provide clinical supervision and act as a mentor, fostering professional growth among nursing staff.
* Collaborate with the Quality Coordinator on quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
