About The Role And Where You Will Be Working
Home Care Support workers work 1 on 1 with clients, mostly at their house or in the community. As a valued team member, you'll be part of a broader group that provides quality & client-focused care in people's homes. We're committed to offering tailored services and making the time we spend with clients as valuable as possible. Here at Southern Cross Care WA, our goal is to enable elderly people to live at home for as long as possible. We currently have needs in Bunbury and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily living activities - cleaning, personal care, meal preparation, shopping & social support.
Regularly liaise with our Care Coordinators to provide updates on client care needs.
Carefully follow client care plans, and log activities via smartphone.
Develop trust and maintain a positive rapport with our clients & their families.
About You
You're comfortable working on your own and enjoy building relationships with people.

Interview and Requirements (If progressing to interview)
National Police Clearance - current within 6 months (or evidence of application)
Immunisation record (Flu)
A completed pre-employment health questionnaire
First aid certificate
Drivers licence & confidence driving
Advantageous to have studied Certs in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Services or equivalent
Advantageous to have Manual Handling and/or Medication Administration certificates
Advantageous to have NDIS Worker Screen Check
