Bar Operators
We are seeking a reliable, motivated live-in couple to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a small, friendly bar. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be the face of the venue, managing everything from opening to close.
About the Role
The bar operates Tuesday to Saturday with a primary focus on great service, drinks, and gaming management. You will be the sole on-site staff, with management available for occasional support. Our food offering is very simple, limited to bar snacks (chips, nuts) and hotdogs.
Key Responsibilities
* Bartending & customer service
* Responsible service & management of gaming/pokies
* Opening & closing procedures
* Daily cleaning & venue maintenance
* Cash handling & money reconciliation
* Stock ordering & stock control
* Organizing small events and promotions
* Ensuring a welcoming, well-run venue at all times
What We're Looking For
* A stable, dependable couple who work well together
* Experience in hospitality or bar work
* Strong work ethic & hands‑on attitude
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to manage gaming in line with regulations (RSA & RSG required or willingness to obtain)
* Good communication & organizational skills
* Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently
