Adllins Media HQ resides in the heart of North Queensland located in Cairns. Providing leadership, support and contribution within regional communities is an extremely important aspect of Adllins Media DNA. Our staff work remotely across APAC and staff local to Cairns meet in person regularly for team meetings (with our out of town staffing joining online). This position is available to applicants Australia-wide, we are not looking for contractors or external agencies for this role.

Our full-service media agency covers all things media buying and marketing strategy encompassing in house; website design and development, digital marketing, social media, SEO, creative design, event planning, media buying and planning, photography and videography including commercial drone operation. We aren't just a media agency, we're a marketing extension for our business partners.

About the Role

Adllins Media is looking for a suitable applicant to join our team as a Communications Coordinator. You will be working alongside experts in their fields, with no two days being the same. This role combines content writing and administration, with a twist

Your key duties may include:

Content creation:

* Interview, research and draft media releases, and distribute to media
* Research, write and edit content for clients, including blogs, website content, and print material
* Research, write and build email marketing campaigns
* Proofread and edit internal digital, website, and graphic design projects

Administration & Workflow Management:

* Work closely with the Director and account management team to assign tasks in our workflow system
* Communicate with clients for brief clarifications and approvals
* Coordinate internal communications and project follow-ups
* Support leadership and administration teams as needed, including preparing meetings, writing minutes, and other admin tasks

To be successful, you will need:

* 2+ years experience in content writing within journalism, PR, or marketing
* 2+ years experience in an administrative environment
* The ability to work quickly while managing multiple projects
* Strong team collaboration skills
* Attention to detail and deadline orientation
* Willingness to learn and adapt to our in-house style
* High-level problem solving, proofreading, and editing skills
* A positive, proactive attitude

Advantageous but not essential:

* Experience with email marketing platforms
* Knowledge of SEO practices
* Qualifications in Business or Marketing

This role provides an iMac; a strong internet connection is required. Occasional travel to Cairns may be necessary, with flexible timing and advance notice.
